BuildersHive is a platform that connects homeowners and property owners with independent contractors and service providers. This includes:

  • Contractor directory listings
  • Lead generation and distribution services
  • Marketing and communication tools

BuildersHive does not employ, manage, endorse, or guarantee any contractor or service provider.

2. Independent Contractors

All contractors and service providers on BuildersHive are independent third parties.

By using the Services, you acknowledge that:

  • BuildersHive does not perform or supervise any work
  • BuildersHive does not guarantee pricing, quality, or outcomes
  • Any agreement or contract is solely between you and the contractor

Users are responsible for performing their own due diligence.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services.
By using BuildersHive, you represent that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.

4. Accounts

You may create an account to access certain features.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your login credentials
  • Be responsible for all activity under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations, misuse, or suspected fraud.

5. Listings & User Content

Users are responsible for all content submitted, including:

  • Business information
  • Service descriptions
  • Images and media

By submitting content, you grant BuildersHive a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and promote that content.

We may remove or modify content at our discretion.

6. Lead Generation & Distribution

BuildersHive may provide lead generation and distribution services to contractors by collecting service requests (“Leads”).

By using our Services:

  • Leads provided through BuildersHive are intended to be exclusive to a single contractor per service request, meaning the same lead is not simultaneously sold to multiple contractors.
  • In certain situations, BuildersHive may reassign or redistribute a lead, including but not limited to:
    • If a contractor does not respond within a reasonable timeframe
    • If a contractor declines the lead
    • If delivery fails due to incorrect contact information or technical issues
    • To maintain service quality or user experience
  • Contractors acknowledge that:
    • Leads are not guaranteed to convert into jobs
    • Lead volume, timing, and quality may vary
    • BuildersHive does not guarantee a specific number of leads or revenue outcomes

BuildersHive reserves the right to manage and route leads in a manner that supports platform performance and user satisfaction.

7. Payments & Billing (If Applicable)

Certain features may require payment, including access to leads or premium services.

By purchasing or using paid features:

  • You agree to all pricing and billing terms presented
  • Payments may be processed through third-party providers (e.g., Stripe)
  • Fees may be non-refundable unless otherwise stated

Additional terms may apply to specific services.

8. Communications & SMS Consent

By submitting your information through BuildersHive, you agree to receive communications from us, including:

  • Phone calls
  • Emails
  • SMS/text messages

These may include:

  • Lead notifications
  • Account updates
  • Service-related messages
  • Marketing communications (where permitted)

Message and data rates may apply.
You may opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP.

We do not sell or share SMS opt-in data with third parties for their marketing purposes.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Engage in spam, fraud, or deceptive practices
  • Impersonate another individual or business
  • Attempt to interfere with the platform or bypass security

Violations may result in removal or permanent suspension.

We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

We make no guarantees regarding:

  • Lead volume, quality, or results
  • Contractor performance or reliability
  • Availability or uptime of the platform

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BuildersHive shall not be liable for any damages arising from:

  • Use of or inability to use the Services
  • Interactions between users and contractors
  • Loss of business, revenue, or opportunities

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BuildersHive from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:

  • Your use of the Services
  • Your content or submissions
  • Your interactions with other users or contractors

14. Intellectual Property

All platform content, branding, and materials are the property of BuildersHive or its licensors.

You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Services without permission.

15. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for any reason.
